US Highway 17, the coastal north-south route, runs through Charleston and connects with I-95 from the south.
Charleston International Airport offers jet service from Air Canada, Delta Airlines Inc., Atlantic Southeast Airline/Delta Connection, Northwest Airlines, Comair Inc./Delta Connection, United Express, Continental Airlines, and US Airways. Amtrak provides regular passenger service to the Charleston area.
